The grey Jeep Compass 2018 belongs to the second, current generation: rounder, quieter and better finished than the older Compasses we also rent. It is a Latitude on alloy wheels, a sensible size for two adults with children, and comfortable on the long drive from Tbilisi to Batumi.
Five seats, five doors and room for two large suitcases plus soft bags. The 2.4 litre engine and automatic gearbox average about 9 litres per 100 km. All-wheel drive makes the Military Highway to Kazbegi and the road to Bakuriani easy in any season, and short gravel to Juta is fine; real mountain tracks such as Tusheti are a job for our 4x4s.
Pickup can be at Tbilisi, Kutaisi or Batumi airport at any hour, or at your door in Tbilisi. Basic insurance and unlimited mileage inside Georgia are included, with full cover and zero excess as an option.

- Standard insurance included: 90% of body damage, tyres and windscreen excluded. Full cover with zero excess is an extra.
- Deposit
- No deposit. Nothing is blocked on your card at pickup.
- Mileage
- Unlimited mileage inside Georgia.
- Fuel
- Same to same: return with the fuel level you picked up. Petrol cars take 95 octane or higher; check the pump before refuelling.
- Driver
- 22+ years old, 2+ years of driving. Any licence in Latin script.
- Second driver
- Free. Same age and licence requirements, listed in the agreement.
- Minimum rental

- Cancellation
- Free up to 24 hours before pickup. No prepayment, nothing to refund.
- Late return
- 1 hour free. 1–3 hours charged by the hour, over 3 hours a full extra day.
