About this car
A couple with a weekend bag, a solo traveller, a first visit to Georgia: this is where the Kia Rio 2020 fits. It is the smallest car we rent, which in Tbilisi means the easiest to park and the least stressful in the old town's one-way lanes. On the open road it feels calmer than its size suggests.
The 1.6 litre petrol engine with an automatic gearbox uses about 6.8 litres per 100 km. Five seats on paper, four adults in comfort, and one large suitcase in the boot with room for soft bags around it. It is a front-wheel-drive car for asphalt: Sighnaghi and the Kakheti wineries, Kutaisi, Borjomi, Batumi. Mountain gravel is not its job.
Take it for three days and the fourth is on us, a promo that suits exactly the kind of short trip this car is made for. No deposit, no prepayment, and basic insurance with unlimited mileage inside Georgia is already included.

- Standard insurance included: 90% of body damage, tyres and windscreen excluded. Full cover with zero excess is an extra.
- Deposit
- No deposit. Nothing is blocked on your card at pickup.
- Mileage
- Unlimited mileage inside Georgia.
- Fuel
- Same to same: return with the fuel level you picked up. Petrol cars take 95 octane or higher; check the pump before refuelling.
- Driver
- 22+ years old, 2+ years of driving. Any licence in Latin script.
- Second driver
- Free. Same age and licence requirements, listed in the agreement.
- Minimum rental
- 1 day
- Cancellation
- Free up to 24 hours before pickup. No prepayment, nothing to refund.
- Late return
- 1 hour free. 1–3 hours charged by the hour, over 3 hours a full extra day.
