The grey Subaru Forester 2022 is a facelifted fifth-generation car with a panoramic sunroof, and the glass earns its place on the Military Highway once the Caucasus fills the view above you. It is one of the newest crossovers we rent, quiet and easy to drive after a long flight into Tbilisi.
Five seats, five doors and three large bags in a square, practical boot. The 2.5 litre boxer engine and CVT automatic use about 8 litres per 100 km. Symmetrical all-wheel drive and good ground clearance take you to Juta, through the Truso valley and along village roads in Racha; the tracks to Omalo need low range, which our 4x4s have.
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pickup, and there is nothing to pay in advance. Basic insurance and unlimited mileage inside Georgia are included.

- Same to same: return with the fuel level you picked up. Petrol cars take 95 octane or higher; check the pump before refuelling.
- Driver
- 22+ years old, 2+ years of driving. Any licence in Latin script.
- Second driver
- Free. Same age and licence requirements, listed in the agreement.
