About this car
The black Toyota 4Runner 2016 comes with a roof-top tent fitted, so your bed for the night travels with you. It is for people who want to wake up at the end of the road: in Tusheti, in the Truso valley or under the Chaukhi peaks at Juta.
Five seats, five doors and four large bags inside, with the tent up on the roof. The 4.0 litre V6 and automatic gearbox use about 13 litres per 100 km, a little more with the tent. A 4x4 with low range, it takes the Abano Pass to Omalo, the road from Mestia to Ushguli and stony valley tracks in its stride.
Book seven days and get two more on us, which is how most tent trips end up being planned. Basic insurance is included, and on rough roads we suggest full cover with zero excess.

- No deposit. Nothing is blocked on your card at pickup.
- Mileage
- Unlimited mileage inside Georgia.
- Fuel
- Same to same: return with the fuel level you picked up. Petrol cars take 95 octane or higher; check the pump before refuelling.
- Driver
- 22+ years old, 2+ years of driving. Any licence in Latin script.
- Second driver
- Free. Same age and licence requirements, listed in the agreement.

- Cancellation
- Free up to 24 hours before pickup. No prepayment, nothing to refund.
- Late return
- 1 hour free. 1–3 hours charged by the hour, over 3 hours a full extra day.
